Welcome to Thornbury Meetings, part of the Severnside Meetings and Conferencing family, based across South Gloucestershire and the north of Bristol.
The centre has been open for over 25 years and is based in the beautiful market town of Thornbury, just 5 miles away from the M4/M5 interchange. We open from 7.30am until 10pm, so are sure to have a time to suit you. The centre benefits from being a large facility featuring both large and small meeting and conferencing spaces. Comfortable seating and tables can be arranged for small groups and workshop activities, or larger meetings with theatre or classroom style seating. A wide range of food and drink can be served to suit your requirements such as simple teas and coffees, buffets up to full table service meals. There is ample free on-site car parking with excellent disabled access to all areas. For certain rooms a separate and private entrance can be made available.
Our Rooms
The Severnside Suite is a large meeting space for up to 150 people. However it can be divided down with soundproof screening and is suitable for much smaller meetings too. Based on the first floor, it has access via stairs and a lift and also features a bar. This room can have a private entrance made available from the car park.
The Hemingways Room is ideal for up to 20 people and includes both formal and sofa seating as required. Many of our customers love the relaxed environment this room can offer.
Equipment
All equipment provided is included in the room rate - we don't have hidden charges! Available equipment includes: Overhead projectors, screens, flip charts, TV, DVD and video. A variety of layouts can be set up to suit your needs, such as U-shaped, Theatre, Board Room, Classroom and Cabaret.
